Edward Navarrete Wins AWWA Meter Madness at ACE!


Edward Navarrete from Isle of Palms Water was the winner at the national Meter Madness Contest in Dallas, Texas. His winning time was 30.63 seconds to completely assemble a water meter. Ed also won the SC Section Meter Madness back in March at SCEC and was our representative to the national competition.

Rachel Crosby Receives Fuller Award at ACE in Dallas, Texas





Rachel Crosby, Oranbegurg DPU received the Section's highest award - the Fuller Award - at the AWWA Annual Conference and Exhibition in Dallas, Texas. We congratulate Rachel for all of the contributions she has made to the SC Section and water industry.

SC Section Director Mark Cline takes office as one of AWWA's Vice Presidents


Mark was elected at the Board of Director's meeting in January in Puerto Rico. He will take office in June 2012 and serve for 1 year. Mark will be the AWWA representative at other Section meetings throughout the country. Mark is employed by the Charleston Water System.
